Save the Date!

Well, after struggling with unrecognizable formats (apparently PDFs are unrecognizable or corrupt) I managed to get this on the blog. However, now that I see it I realize that it is too small. So, here is the most important information that you need to know:

On the 26th of June, 2010, Kaila Rose Fromdahl and Mark William Nicholl
will be married!

Some helpful additional information (which will be addressed in the formal invitation):

-The wedding will be located at 741 Anabel Road, Idleyld Park, Oregon, 97447, USA.
-The ceremony will begin at 4pm followed by much feasting and merriment and we encourage people to come early and stay late!
-We are also encouraging camping in our field, if you are campers. If not, there are a few wonderful options of places to stay, for example The Steamboat Inn or the Illahee Inn.
-We will also be serving a casual brunch the following morning, also in the field.
-If you have an instrument, please bring it!

More information will be provided as the time passes (and as I remember all of the things I'm supposed to tell all of you).

In the area for a few days?

If you intend to be in the area for a few days around the wedding, there are many things to see and do.

The first picture is Toketee Falls, which I hope will be open by that time. Toketee Falls is about 43 miles east of Glide and 16 miles west of Diamond Lake (which is also nice I just didn't have a picture of it).

The second image is Clearwater Falls, which is at milepost 69.5 (according to the internet). While Toketee is completely unique and amazing, Clearwater is my favourite! Although the name is not all that inventive the water is true to it. Nestled back in a thickly forested area the water moves down the stream with unearthly clarity. A must, if I do say so myself!

The next image is none other than 1313. If you want to go, you will need directions from a trusted individual! No, not really, it is rather easy to get to you will just need to know where the trailhead is (and we can tell you). A beautiful place to swim! However, as the sign post will warn you as you journey down the trail, there may be nudity ahead!

The last image is Illahee Flats. While there are no waterfalls or naked people here it is an amazing thing to see.

The Field

Our wedding will take place in our field at 741 Anabel Road, Idleyld Park Oregon, 97447.

Every year we have a baseball game and here are some photos to help you get the idea.

We are encouraging camping!
However, we have also added a link to The Steamboat Inn which is just up the river from us and possibly even more beautiful.

Our field is large and beautiful and we encourage everyone to dress comfortably for there are many places to swim, run around, and play!

Alright, unfortunately I am still unsure about this blog business and am having difficulty figuring out how this all works. However, since I figured out how to add, or rather "invite", people to view this blog, I thought I had better get cracking!
So we're getting married! A fact which I am sure you were aware of. You will all be receiving a save the date card which will be followed by a proper invitation explaining things in more detail.
The aim of this site if to keep everyone updated and answer questions anyone might have. For example, "what shoes should I wear to the wedding?" and I would reply "NOT high heels" (a detail which will be explained in greater detail as the blog posts keep coming). We will provide photos and descriptions of things that you may be unfamiliar with, like the location of the wedding, and hope that this blog will prepare us all for what is to come . . . which is a great time to be had by all on the 26th of June, 2010!
