Thank You All!

Well I hope that a few of you are still checking in here because we would like to tell you all how much we appreciated you sharing our day with us! While one can never expect everything to go perfectly, Mark and I had a perfect day! Despite the minor glitches we hope that everyone had a wonderful time! Here are a few photos that we have received from friends! I will post more as they arrive (and the internet is fast enough to upload them).

One Day!

Well it is finally here! I am off to prep chicken and start the ball rolling! If there are any questions please don't hesitate to ask us. Hope that everyone is excited! AND we may even get 88 degree F weather! Fantastic! See you all tomorrow!

Five Days!

Alright Everyone, there are five days left! Here are some things to look at.

Directions

Off of I-5 take exit 124, Roseburg City Center.

Follow signs to Hwy 138 East, towards Glide.

Continue through Glide and Idleyld Park.

At mile post 22, Rock Creek

Road, take a left. Continue for 1.4 miles.

The road paint will end and it will be the first

driveway on the right, Anabel Road.

Oven Finished and Some Tips

The oven was christened last weekend (the first fire was lit, there was no sabering of champagne) and it didn't collapse! Time is flying but we are more ready every day.

There are some things that I would like to remind people of (if anyone is actually reading this, which based on the multiple questions about where we are registered, I am guessing not many are).

First: While the weather has changed (finally) and the sun is gorgeous and hot, the evening will cool off so bring warm clothing!

Second: Let me say again that flat sole shoes are a must! High heals will be unmanageable!

Third: Make sure that you are comfortable! We are not expecting people to turn up in their top hats and cuff-links. Casual dress is good!

Despite the Weather

Well, this is a bit late but here are some photos of last weekend. With three weekends to go before the big day we have much to accomplish! However, things are looking good and we are certainly ready to party!

Completion is in sight

After another hard weekend, Mark's pizza oven is getting closer to completion! With the roof on the new tractor shed and the oven ready for the fire bricks we are all getting excited! However, I must say that everyone must ask the weather gods for warm, dry weather! This late spring is beginning to take its toll on my nerves! While we are researching tents, we would much rather have a clear, sunny day. So, with that said, let's all cross our fingers please!

Another Day Closer

As the days pass and RSVP cards are filling up our mailbox we are scrambling to get everything ready. Last weekend we all had a very successful building session, as previous weekends had too, but here are the photos to prove it! With trails built, ovens and sheds being built, and many memories being created we hope that you will all be able to enjoy the fruits of our labour! As of this moment, there are 35 people coming to the wedding (and countless other letters in the mail).
